Johnson missing Branch of my Family Tree
Rose Johnson nee Quinn born about 1885 to 1887 was my aunt but I never knew her she was the eldest of a large family my father the baby ....Her married was Johnson but she could have married twice and lost her first husband in the 1914-18 war....sometime in the 1920's they moved to Gillingham as he had gone to Chatham Dockyard brother Tommy when at a Royal Engineers went to visit her in the 1950's and I remaber him saying they still lived in the same house they moved too...she was reputed to have had between 18 and 22 children but this could have been the melding of two familys....Michael Johnson in the RAF during the 2nd war reputed to be the youngest .came to North ShieldsNorthumberland to represent his mother at his grandmothers funeral in 1940/41 as I was posted with my husband in both Hong Kong and Malaya between the years 1959 to 1962 it is possible that this is when Rose Johnson died and I never was told .....Rose was baptised RC and I assume her children were too.....
