Any information on Peter Mackie convicted of manslaughter in Co Clare on 28 February 1832. He was sentenced to life and transported to Australia on board the Eliza 6 which arrived in Sydney on 6 September 1832. He was pardoned in 1848 but on condition that he was never allowed to return to Ireland or the UK. He was a farm labourer in Co Clare and left behind a wife and son. Any help much appreciated.
