JUKES, Wood Green, Wednesbury
William Jukes, son of Edward Jukes, married Lydia Russell in Walsall in 1842. He was a spade and shovel finisher at Elwells forge, Wood Green, Wednesbury. Some of their children were Sarah, born about 1850, Samuel, Joseph, Thomas born 19th November 1859, Phoebe and Emma. Lydia died before 1871 and William remarried, to Eliza Jones in 1876. Thomas Jukes married Elizabeth Davy, daughter of Joseph Davy, roller, of 21 Albert Street, West Bromwich, at St John’s parish church on 10th September 1888. Some of their children were Lydia, William, Emma, Mary, James, and Edward Joseph Jukes born 25th March 1895 at 2 Wood Green, Wednesbury, my grandfather. They were living in Crankhall Lane, Wednesbury, in 1901. I am looking for any information on the Jukes family and would like to make contact with any descendents the above.
