Martin in Warehorne and Worth
William Martin bc 1823 Warehorne married Sarah Ann WOOD bapt 10th March 1828, Lydd, Kent. William has been described as a tea dealer in 1851 & 1861 census records, grocer in 1871 and a market gardener in 1881. Known children are Stephen bc 1850 Warehorne, 1881 census at Arundel Sx with wife Frances, 1901 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent living with wife Frances and occupation Clothing outfitter shop keeper.
Sarah Ann MARTIN bc 1855, Warehorne married 1879 Jean CASTEREDE - 1881 lived Chorlton On Medwick,Lancs where her husband was a Professor of French - they had a son Joesph bc 1880. In 1901 Jean died just prior to the census - Sarah and her son were living in Acton. She was working from home as a fancy draper and her son was a foreign correspondent. William MARTIN was bc 1857 - no further details. There is then a big gap to Jabez MARTIN bc 1873 Warehorne. In 1901 he was living with his mother at Worth and was a market gardener.
