Holewell and Page 1879-1880
These are my GGparents. James Holewell B: 1854 D: 1937. Listed on my Grandpa's Birth Certificate as: General Labourer residing at 6 Oak Terrace, Ore, Hastings in 1897 when my Grandfather Charles Holewell was born on Dec 28, 1896. My GGmother was Caroline Page, B: 1855 D: 1951. When my grandfather joined the RCNVR 6 Dec 1917, His mom Carrie Holewell resided at Lands View Terrace, St. Helens, Hastings, England and denomination is shown as: Church of England. Their children were: Florence 1880; Mary 1881; George 1883; Anthony 1885; James 1887; Arthur 1889; Not Named 1891; Albert 1892; Lavena 1894 and then my Grandfather Charles 1896.

I am unsure if the whole family migrated to Canada or just the children. I do remember my Uncle Art andAndie(?) which were my Grandfather's brothers who lived in Manitoba and then Saskatchewan, Canada. My grandfather was living in Balmoral/Winnipeg in 1917 and his Mom as shown above, in Hastings England. Nan and Gramp returned to visit family members in 1972 - the year I was to be married and so I missed that trip. It would be nice to have further information to build the family tree for my remaining siblings and our children. Regards, Lori-Anne
