Have come across a newspaper article regarding my husbands grandparents Daisy Elizabeth WHITE and George Thomas WALKER wedding in Lower End Wavendon in the local paper, Sept 17th 1918. Either parents were not present at the wedding and Daisy's father didn't give the bride away, perhaps not unusual but intrigued if anyone knows the reasons why? We have a wedding photograph of Daisy and Georges's wedding and no family present except Daisy's brother in law HG HANNA and the brides brother acting as best man, no name given, but could be John (Jack) or Arthur (Charlie) Would be very interested if anyone knows further details that could help put the jigsaw together and I would be willing to share my info. Thank you.
