Former Slave Samuel Thomson died 1806
Samuel Thomson (or Thompson) drowned in the River Avon at Bristol in 1806. He was aged 20 years. He had been a servant to William Thomson (or Thompson) since the age of seven. William Thomson was from Bath (and Jamaica). I am trying to find out more about William Thomson. The incident of Samuel Thomson's death is well documented at Bristol Central Library. He is buried in the Strangers' Burial Ground in Cliftonwood.
