Mary Pearce Bevan
My ggrandmother, Mary Pearce Bevan (born abt. 1868) was in the workhouse at Abbey Dore. Her family lived in Kentchurch at Llanithon farm. Her father was William Pearce Bevan and mother was Charlotte (Philips). My grandmother (her daughter) was Sarah Ann Pearce-Bevan who married William John Jones in 1910 in Hay on Wye.
A record left by my mother says that Mary became pregnant by the relief officer. She later worked as a domestic servant for the Husband family in Ewys Harrold? I would be grateful for any information.
