William Charles Lake of Blackheath, Lewisham, Catford areas
William Charles Lake abandoned his wife Edith SMITH and two children Harold and Egbert, in the Lewisham/Brockley/Catford, area around 1900. He pops up again in Broadview, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1907. He returns to his father Evan, a solicitor based in Gravesend, Kent in 1913, bringing his son Gordon and new wife Kitty from Canada, then disappears again in 1915 after making his Will in favour of his son Gordon. The next time we hear about him is that he died on 23 May 1925 and had been living in Merritt British Columbia, Canada. Do you know what he was doing between 1915-1925? Please help me with this brick wall.
