Carpenter called William Wright who worked on Alnwick Castle restoration.
I'm looking for information about the family of William Wright, carpenter and wood carver, who worked on the restoration of Alnwick Castle in the 1870s/80s/90s. He had a large family, being married twice. One of his daughters- the second youngest child- was Frances Elizabeth Wright, born 1883. She married a John Carter Wood (originally of Hawick, I believe) in 1908, and they moved to Carlisle where he managed an ironmongers in Botchergate. John died young in the late 1930s. They had no children- Frances Elizabeth was my godmother. Would love to know more about any of this.
