William Pearce Bevan
William was my gg grandfather. Born in Llanigon? 1839. Registered in 1851 (aged 12) in Whitney (Hay) as a lodger at Road Side. I have traced Thomas Pearce Bevan
born in Bradford on Avon. He was later recorded as a surgeon living in Rochester.
William was later living at Llanithog farm, Kentchurch married to Charlotte (Phillips).
I have no record of Williams mother. The mystery is Williams father appears to be a respectable surgeon but William appears to be abandoned. Can any one cast some light on this mystery? You would have my eternal gratitude! Ken
