Cocker/Catton
Anne Elizabeth Catton was my great grandmother,I think she had a brother called Ben.She died when my grandma Mary Hannah Foster was about 13.She had been widowed and married a Mr. Cocker ,they had a son called George. I dont know about the Cocker family, but would love to know about the Cattons. I think one of them was married to a lady who lived in Beeston who used to take washing in and did an excellent job! Apparently Anne Elizabeth was a beautiful woman with long black hair, which was braided with mauve ribbons on her death. Her daughter Mary Hannah was lovely too, very very kind and hardworking.I didnt know she had half sisters.Any more information on them?Pat.
