Dublin Ironfoundres
My ggg grandfather Robert Broadbent (c.1785-1858) lived in Chapelizod with his wife Alice (c.1795-1850). It was in this village that their children Ellen and Robert were baptised and where they (R & A) were buried. Robert was an Ironfounder. There was a William Broadbent (also an Ironfounder) who lived in Dublin at the time and he/they may have been associated with the ironfoundry in Bridgefoot Street. I am seeking information on the connection between these two men and their origin/s. A Robert Broadbent and a William Broadbent were each associated with the village of Irishtown, Co Dublin in the second decade of the 19th Century.
