Oldridge family
My ancestors - Oldridge family - lived in Sutton St Cyres at the beginning of the 19th century. With census research, I have some information about them. James Oldridge, born 1818? married Frances Mitchell. James was an agricultural worker, as were his sons. My direct ancestor (one of James's sons,William, born 1845?) later moved to Cardiff to work on the railway. Does any curious fox in the Exeter area know where I could get any more information pre. 19th century? I'm prepared to travel to the area, but wouldn't know the best place to start. Many thanks for your interest.
