Mary BACON was the maiden name of my 3xggm who, according to the 1851 census was born in Hinckley and in 1871 was born in Sharnford, around 1823. She was married to David ROCKINGHAM who was also known as David Rockingham SMITH. Any information on the BACON family in and around Hinckley or Sharnford would be greatly appreciated.

Member's Profile
Lawrence Daniell. I am researching both sides of my family tree with particular interest, at the moment, in my Mothers side (REDING) as her 18th and 19th century ancestors came from Hampshire and are local. Other Hampshire names of interest are CANNON, GLASPOOL (including variations), MOSS, MOORE especially in the Andover, Winchester area. I have traced my Fathers side (DANIELL) to William Daniell who married Charlotte Bishop in Lambeth in 1827. I found this on the IGI and know nothing else about them(yet!) Any help with either side would be greatly appreciated.
