Laker family Faversham
Walter and Mary Laker lived in Faversham and had 2 children, Richard b 1782 and Bellisant b 1785 (Canterbury Archives microfilm). There may have been other children. Bellisant was my gggg grandmother and married Richard Pepper. They lived in Meeting Street, Ramsgate in 1841 (census entry) with their daughter, Elizabeth Pepper b 1818. I know that Richard married Bellisant in Faversham in 1803 (Canterbury Archives, microfilm). Richard was known as a Journeyman Tailor from the Isle of Thanet (census) and also St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex (marriage records). I would like to know who his parents were and if there were other children born to him and Bellisant. I'd also like to know more about Walter and Mary Laker. Thanks.
