Did Part of King St reet disappear?
Samuel PERRY (1825-1911), a relative, lived at 24 King Street for the 1901 census and one of his sons, Thomas, a few doors down at Number 20. However, when I checked in the newly opened 1911 Census and went to look up those numbers for King St, they were not listed... I wondered if there was a major demolition in Wellington in the first decade of the 20thC. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? I had rather hoped to try and get a picture of the house(s) since I have never visited the city...
