Thomas Hesketh (1891-1930?)
Im looking for any information on Thomas Hesketh (1891-1930?) he was my great grandfather, he lived on Grassmere St in the Anfield area of Liverpool. After serving in WW1 he became a tram driver in Liverpool before his death which was due to gas poisoning he suffered in WW1. He married Elizabeth Morris, whose father was George Morris. He also had a brother William Hesketh who married Nora who was a music teacher. Any information would be greatly appreciated as it is for my nan who is very interested, she is currently not well in hospital. In particular I am interested in a portrait of Thomas Hesketh which was apparently given to rogue salesmen by my grandfather who had conned him into believing it was going to be used as a prop on a tv show over 30 years ago! I hope it is still about somewhere, it apparently had his name inscribed in the bottom corner with his army uniform on, my mother remembers it well...please get in touch if you have any information at all.
