Gardening in Batheaston
My greatgrandfather, Henry Richard Weaver, started his career as a horticulturalist whilst living in Batheaston as a teenager, with his mother Maria and two siblings John and Mary Ann. After the death of his father, John Weaver, they were all staying in 1861 with his father's uncle William Weaver, and the mother was acting as housekeeper. Henry later moved settled in Stafford, where he and his wife Hannah brought up a family of ten, the first being my grandfather John Henry Guest Weaver. Liz
