John Hammon 1861 Clerkenwell
John Hammon and his wife Emma are my GGG grandparents. They lived in Sekforde Street, Clerkenwell, with their seven children in 1861 (census information). John's mother was Jane Hammon. John was a silver watch case maker who employed ten men and three boys. I am looking for any information about either, the people or the watch cases John made. Would the cases have carried any mark which would have identified them as his work? Part of the family also seemed to have lived out at Tottenham for a while around 1851, and one child was born there.
