Rosbottom family Great Harwood
I am looking for my Paternal Grandmother's relations, the Rosbottoms who are listed on the 1901 census at 45 Club Street, Great Harwood. The family consisted of Richard (Father), Maria (mother, nee Williams), 6 daughters - Lizzy, Eda, Margaret Ellen (who married John Wilding and had a son, Thomas), Roseannah, Ruth and Rachel (my grandma, known as "Nan". She died in 1971) and two boys - Emanuel and Hurbert. Richard had a twin brother Thomas and a younger sister, Alice. I have found a link to Alice's descendants.

Rachel married a man called Harold Brooks Pedley in March 1916 at Mount Zion Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Great Harwood. At the time she lived at 6 Princess Street, Great Harwood and he came from Rishton (his family originally were quarrymen from Facit. For some reason (the big family secret!!!!), she left Harold and moved to Rothwell in West Yorkshire where she met the man who was my grand-father (I never met him, he died in 1948 - 7 years before I was born).

This is the reason for my search, I have very little knowledge of this branch of my family since Rachel never spoke of her family, save for her big sister Margaret Ellen, who I met a couple of times almost 40 years ago! The Wilding family she married lived in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington or Oswaldtwistle.

Can anyone help me please?
