Robert Hunt of Gloucestershire
Robert Hunt emigrated from Gloucestershire, apparently without family, and settled in Burlington County, New Jersey, USA about 1700. He worked as a shoemaker and was listed as a member of the Burlington Quaker meeting in 1704. He and Elizabeth Woolman, aunt of John Woolman the renown Quaker minister, were married in 1708. Their children were Robert, John, Elizabeth and Samuel. William Woolman emigrated with John, his only child and Elizabeth's father, from Painswick to Burlington County in 1678. Robert Hunt died in 1716. Information about his English roots is greatly appreciated. Robert
