O'SHAUGHNESSY, DAVIS, O'CONNELL and GREEN from Liverpool.
My great great grandfather THOMAS O'SHAUGHNESSY (b.1831) married ANN DAVIS (b1836) abt 1858 - I think in Ireland where they were both born. They had at least five ch. The oldest (JOHN THOMAS b.1862) was born in Bengal, India where his father was probably a soldier in the Indian Mutiny. By 1864 they were in Walton, Liverpool where their second son, MICHAEL was born. Their third ch. was GEORGE, my great grandfather b. Walton 1867. CHARLES and MARY FRANCES are the last two ch. I have found. GEORGE married ANNIE O'CONNELL (b1867 Ireland) in 1888 at St.Joseph's Blundellsands. Her father was JOHN O'CONNELL b.1845 prob. Ireland and he was a blacksmith living at Orrell Park, Aintree - no idea who his wife was. ANNIE and GEORGE had five ch. the middle one being MARY MONICA O'SHAUGHNESSY, b.1895 Waterloo who married WILLIAM THOMAS GREEN b. 1888 Northants - these are my grandparents. Any info appreciated. Thanks.
