Conroy, Muloye in Ireland
I am trying to trace my great great grandmother named Bridget Muloye and her husband Thomas Conroy (he was born about 1835 per UK census of 1871). Her name on her children's birth certifcates is shown as 'Conroy, formerly Muloye'. This was written by the Registrar so I have some doubts about the spelling of her surname as I haven't traced anyone else with that name.
I have not traced Thomas Conroy either. All I have as his place of birth - by census and children's birth certificates (Mary and Michael) as Ireland. Unfortunately I don't have the area either of them were born. He was a coal miner in Staffordshire but no record of his family in the Census until 1871. The children were born in Bilston in 1858 and 1862.
If anyone could provide any relevant information that would be a great help.
