red mail Warley House/Greenwood
I am trying to find the history of Warley House. My GGG Grandfather Abraham Greenwood and his wife Betty were both born in Warley abt 1816. In the 1841 UK census Warley House seems to have a few Greenwoods living there, along with many other people with different surnames. I am wondering if it was once a workhouse, poorhouse or orphanage. Any information would be much appreciated.
