Roberts 1795
Joseph Roberts was allegedly born in Treeton in 1795-6 according to his census ages and place of birth. I have found Roberts's born in Treeton at this time but no Joseph. He lived there on and off until he died there in 1869. He is buried in St. Helen's churchyard (aged 74 years)with wife and reference to two sons. The Gravestone is still readable. Joseph is my ten-year-brick-wall. Can anyone suggest any unusual sources for names from Treeton?

red mail Lynam family-Treeton
My grandfather, William Herbert Fowler Lynam born 27Oct1888 in Treeton, son of Alfred (coal miner, born 1863)and Sarah was sent by Barnardo's to Canada in 1900. Through some mistake his name was changed to LYNHAM, the name his descendants all share. I have found his grandfather, also William, in the 1881 census in Temple Normanton, Derby with a raft of great aunts and uncles, including Elizabeth b. 1859; George Edward b.1861; William b.1865; Alice b.1870; Arthur b. 1872; Oskar b. 1875 and Beatrice Maud b. 1879. Grandfather had a sister Polly who stayed in England. Has anyone searched this family name in this area?
red mail Foers, E (female)
Trying to find Elizabeth Forres (so spelled on her gravestone in Montreal, Canada) who was born in England in 1807. E Foers b in Treeton 15 Feb 1807 is a possibility. Anyone know this line? She emigrated to Canada and married John Dalrymple about 1828 in Montreal, Quebec.
