red mail WILSON family
I've drawn a blank with my own family tree. My grandfather, WILLIAM HERBERT WILSON lived at Crinabottom, Ingleton as a young boy. 1902-1986, his father, WILLIAM (1863-1941) also shown as living at Crinabottom, after that it is all guess work. My grandfather (Herbert as he liked to be called) was born, and lived at Crinabottam, Ingleton, at the foot of Ingleborough, as a boy, and when he married Carrie Crane he moved to Bell Horse Gate, and owned the dairy there. Has anyone any information about William's father (my Great grandfather)? I have found a Joseph Wilson, who was born in Durham 1831, and later moved to Ingleton. One of the census forms does show a William as his son, and the dates tie in. Could this be William's father? and if he is, then who was Joseph's father? There are too many Jospeh Wilsons in the Durham area to know which one is his father. Can you help at all?

red mail Guy
Richard Guy married Jane Greenbank in Bentham in 1682 and had eight children in Ingleton. Mary bp 1722 in Giggleswick who married Thomas Foster could be his youngest daughter or a granddaughter. His son Richard is his only other child to marry (1723). Jane his widow takes Admons for Richard in Settle 1725. There is another Guy family in Ingleton around the same time so I have collected many names.
