Im interested in the above family of the Hoyland area and specifically Thorpe Hesley. Originaly from the Thetford and Croxton area of Norfolk the family settled in severak waves in Hoyland in the late 1860's and 1870's and had close connections possibly to St. Helens Catholic Church in Hoyland. Seem to have kept the fairly distinct spelling of the name LAIT as LAYTE.
