red mail Philip Parish 1878-1933
Philip Parish was born near Horncastle Lincs. but moved to Heeley after his marriage in 1900. His wife was Annie Williamson also born in Lincolnshire. I have a photo of him which I would estimate to have been taken in the 1920's, wearing what might have been a Mayoral Chain of Office, but I have never heard any family stories about this. Can anyone suggest any way I might research this mystery? I have already got a list of the Mayors of Sheffield, but he doesn't appear on it.
