red mail Foster/Smith family, Farsley 1901
I'm trying to trace members and information regarding this family who were living at 5 Lister Street, Farsley in the parish of St. John in 1901. I think that Lister Street has now gone but it was in the area of Turner St, Ebenezer St and Croft St. The head of the family, Joseph Foster, was a widower who married Elizabeth Smith in 1903. They both had children from their previous marriages. The Fosters living at this address in 1901 were: Jane Ann (aged 20), Emily (18), Harry (15), John (12) and Percy (3). The Smiths were: Ada (16), Joe (12), Abraham or Abram (10), Albert (8) and Mary (5). I would love to hear from anyone who might be related to this family, particularly the Fosters as John was my grandfather.
Further to prev note-I have been informed my Abraham Keighley b 1762-1765 was brother of Benjamin Keighley b 1758 m to Rose Hainsworth and that their parents were John and Hannah nee Busfield.Does anyone have any further info about this plse?
