red mail Methleys In Darfield
The Methley family came from Shafton, and then Darfield. I'm researching all occurrences of the name Methley which originated as de Methley, then changed to Medley. In the mid-1600s, my branch changed their name back to Methley. The Methleys branched out to Doncaster, Royston, Sheffield and Barnsley also in the mid-1600s. The Medleys are more prolific and there are lots in the USA.
