red mail Albert J Mahomet and family
Anyone know what happened to Albert John Mahomet (Methodist minister, born Poplar, London 1858)and his family? They were living in Bramley in 1911 but I can't trace them after that. I'm particularly interested in his daughter, Leah Gladys Edna (known as Edna) b 1895 who married Leslie Middleton in Bury St Edmunds in 1926. I know she was living in Witney, Oxfordshire when Leslie died in 1931 and I suspect she may have gone back to her family as she was pregnant at the time. I cannot however find a birth record for her son David (1931/32) but I know he was alive and living in Sydney, Australia in the mid 1980s. Any clues to the Mahomets or David Middleton would be wonderful! Thanks, Helen
