The club is still in existence but now in a nice new building. When I remember it as a child it was on Free Street off Otley Road. My dad was a lifelong member and I am trying to find some links to his younger life. He was born in Undercliffe Street in 1904 but lived in many of the old streets - Ripon Street, Maudsley Street and Newlands Place and talked of playing in the 'monkey gardens' at the top of Newlands Place. My dad was Mark Wilkinson if anyone has any memories of him I would love to know.

I am keen to have links to my father's family. My grandfather Tom Wilkinson married Alice Myers in the late 1890's (only a guide to link with the dates of birth which I have). They lived in the Barkerend/Undercliffe areas. They had two daughters - Rachel and Ada and two sons William and Mark. Alice died in about 1916 and Tom remarried to Ethel Simpson, she ad one daughter Elsie at the time of the marriage. Tom is buried in Tong Cemetery.

I'm looking for descendents and ancestors of William Walker (1803-1867) and Kezia Wesley Stamp Walker (daughter of a Rev. Stamp), who lived in Bolling Hall, Bradford, at time of 1851 census. They had seven sons: John, William, Arthur, Alfred, Ashley, Frank and Harry, and one daughter, Kezia. William Walker's mother's maiden name was Lydia Duplicy, and was listed as age 80 in the 1851 census, daughter of J. Duplicy. Searching for any information on the following people. John HARDAKER, born ca 1818, West Riding, married Mary Ann Unknown. They had the following children: Lot-born 1858, Harriet-born 1860, Eri-born Jun 1862 and Sarah Jane-born 1865, All born in Bradford. Eri HARDAKER married an Annie MILNES on 29 Oct 1882 at Bradford. Eri and Annie immigrated to NZ after their marriage at some stage before 1886. The HARDAKER family were all (except Sarah) working at some job or other for a mill in Bradford during the 1871 census, but all had changed occupations by 1881.
