red mail GELDER family of Armley
I am researching my family and was hoping that someone may be able to help me, as I don't live locally. My Great Great Granparents were Robert Gelder and Rebecca Gelder(nee Wood). Robert was born 1836 in Armley and died in 1906 in Armley. Rebecca (nee Wood) was born 1837 in Spofforth and died 1897 in Armley. They were buried at Bartholomew Church ? They had lived at Steep Causeway and also Stone Row in Armley. Would anyone know or be able to find out a burial plot in the Cemetary for me. I was told that they would more than likely have been buried in the cemetery at the back of the prison - connected to bartholomew church on wesley street. I really hope to hear from someone....Thankyou for your time.
