red mail LIDSTER family
I am trying to trace John Lidster born in 1831/2. In the 1861 census he is shown to have been born at Ardsley in 1832 and his occupation is shown as agricultural labourer but by the 1881 census he is shown to have been born in 1831 at Barmbro and his occupation then was grocer and his address 22 Wilton Lane, Kimberworth. His wife was Elizabeth and his children - in 1881- were John, William, Walter, Wilfred and Sarah; and he had a step daughter Edna Bedford. Can anyone offer me any further information about this family please, in particular John senior's parents and grandparents ? Many thanks. Janette.
