Looking for anyone researching the Gray family. Charlotte Borton formerley Gray, registered her daughter Annie Blanche at Malton in 1876 and stated she was the wife of Henry Borton a farmer of Whitwell. I cannot find any trace of the marriage at Whitwell or the baptism of Annie Blanche, or where in Whitwell they farmed. Please get in touch if you can help.

Looking for information of Providence & Florence Medd. Providence was born in 1870 and Florence 1878. Providence married John Hodkinson in 1902 at Ellerburne church. Her parents were Jabez and Catherine Medd. Any information on Jabezs' parents John and Ann (Williamson) Medd would be great. They had 10 children including twins Elizabeth and Sarah, Samson moved to Northumberland, Martin to Hull, but no info on Anne born 1823 and Elizabeth born 1834. Any further information on this family would be great and further my search.

William is shown as living with parents John and Elizabeth Watson on census and is shown as farmers son. William and Ada had 4 children whilst living in Wilton before moving to Hutton Buscel where they then had their own farm and had a further 2 children born there.

Researching John Hills born about 1854 in England died 20 Feb 1896 in Hallock, MN, USA. He married Eliza Hill born 11 Jul 1856, Wombleton, on 28 Nov 1876 in the parish church in the parish of Kirkdale. One daughter Alice Ann was born and died Aug 1877, Bransdale. One son William Ernest was born 31 July 1879, Wombleton. The family moved to Hallock, MN, USA in 1880. Children born Minnesota: John Edward 1881, Charlotte Annie 1882, Charles Henry 1884, Alfred James 1886, Harry 1887, Lillie 1888, Frederick George 1890, Joseph Walter 1892, David Robert 1893, Francis Oliver 1895. Eliza moved with her family to Beausmont, ND, USA around 1896. She died in North Dakota on 11 Aug 1930. Looking for information on the above couple especially John's birth date, place of birth and parents names. Thank you
William Best and Alice Richardson - (Wombleton - Yorkshire, North Riding)
They married at St Gregory's, Kirkdale on 25th December 1791. As far as I know, they had 9 children and lived in Wombleton village. William's parents were Thomas Best and Mary Kiplin/Kipling. They married on 10th June 1762 at St Cuthbert's, Billingham. William was baptised on 8th May 1764 at St Mary Magdalen, Wolviston. The family appear to have moved from the Billingham area to Great Ayton and from there to Hutton le Hole, having 11 children in all. I am unable to find out anything further about Thomas Best and Mary Kiplin/Kipling. The marriage register entry states that they were both of that Parish.
