red mail The Forge
Does anyone know of Barnes family and especially Barnes connected with the old blacksmiths forge in the 1950s to early 60s?
I am researching the Warwick Family of John Warwick and Elizabeth (Lion) who lived on Newstead Grange Farm near Thornton Dale in the period 1790's to 1830's. They had 5 sons and 3 daughters. Their first born son, John, born in 1802, was a gold and silversmith who was arrested in Staffordshire on 26/7/1823, tried and sentanced to life. He was transported to Australia in 1824. I am trying to establish if this information is correct or was it another John Warwick. Johns Grandparents were John Warwick and Mary (Wharton). His siblings were, William b 1807, Jane b 1809, Mary b 1812, Robert b 1815, Elizabeth b 1819, Thomas b 1821, George b 1825. I hope someone can assist.
