Jonathan R FISHER was born in London abt 1783 and in the 1851 census in Otley he is described as a Chelsea Pensioner. He married Sarah FARLAM in Carlisle in 1810 They has 11 children first 3 recorded as born in Woolwich, the others in Scarborough 1817-1833 I suppose he could have been stationed with the Royal Artillery. I wonder if there is any information available on his time in the town.
