Kenneth McLEAN, born c.1752, lived in Loftus, Yorkshire and married Jane Wilkinson in 1787. Looking to find out where he was FROM originally. red mail COOK FAMILY LOFTUS EASINGTON & MOORSHOLM
Mary Ann Cook b. 1837 Freeborough, Moorsholm. She was likely a servant in the general area and is shown on 1871 census as living in Easington where she remained for the rest of her life. I cannot find any marriage record & her census entries describe her as single. Her son (my great grandfather) Joseph Cook was born 27 June 1863 at Union Workhouse, Guisborough. No record of father. I believe Mary Ann's parents are Hannah and Joseph but have drawn a blank in locating further details of her forbears. Any clues/info gratefully received.
