In his will dated 13 Dec 1843, John HUDSON of Barton-le-Willows mentioned his nephews John FRANK and George FRANK. I suspect that they were the sons of George FRANK, late of Kirkbymoorside, who died in 1868. I would be grateful for any help to sort out the connection between the HUDSON and FRANK families.

I am seeking any ancestors or people researching the Stork family, who came from Kirkbymoorside area and Pickering. I am looking for the baptism record, and any other biographical details of John Stork (bap 10 March 1829) and who married Mary Dowson on 24 Nov 1863 in Kirkbymoorside. I am looking for documentary proof of John's parents. I think his father was Christopher Stork who's wife might have been called Jane - ? -. John was a coal miner and farm labourer. I found a John Stork (in the 1841 Census) living at West End Street, Kirkby Moorside with Ann Stork (aged 50), Jane Stork (aged 45), Elizabeth Stork (aged 60) and Hannah Stork (aged 5). in 1861 Census is shown (aged 32, servant) still in Kirkbymoorside working as a groom for Margaret Fenwick, landowner and farmer of 200 acres.

I am researching my wifes side of the family and require some details of a John Richard Mosey who I believe was born in 1900 and was married to my wifes grandmother Beatrice Ezard . From the information I have I understand that John Mosey was killed in an industrial accident at Spaunton Quarry near Kirkbymoorside in 1962 or sometime near that date. Both lived in Kirkbymoorside in Tinley Garth.

My grandmother Bertha Bull ( nee Wilkinson) , as I understand it , live at kirkby for some time. But I don't know the years. I am researching my family history and trying to find her mothers maiden name. I am guessing the years1900-1911 , but it might be 1911-1927. Isaac Pilmoor born 1763 Fadmoor, son of Michael Pilmoor a Quaker, and Jamima Jackson married Kirkbymoorside 30 Dec 1788. I have the basis Pilmoor lineage if anyone is interested. Isaac`s descendants tended to be blacksmiths and maybe he was one too. Have come to a dead end with Jamima so would appreciate help!
Jonathan AGAR married Mary CLARK in 1771. They lived at Farndale but many family baptisms, marriages and burials were in the parish of Kirkbymoorside.
John HUDSON (1831-1914) mar. Hannah WRIGHTSON c1862. John was a farmer at Fadmoor, and his headstone is in the churchyard at Kirkbymoorside.

I am interested in any information on my Grandmother's Grandfather's family. He was Robert POUNDER and he was born in Kirkby Moorside in 1809. He married Betty SONLEY. They seemed to move to Stokesley sometime before 1833 though some of his siblingsremained in Kirkby Moorside.
