Looking for marriage of George Salmon 1851 to Elizabeth Nicholson trying to see if I have the right one and need to know if his father is on the marriage record. At the moment I have James 1786 and Hannah Pollard 1790 as his parents. They also have a son called James 1860 who is a Gamekeeper and he is on a probate record for one William Salmon who died in 1891 aged 63 yrs. Do not know who this William is, he is not in my tree but must be related somehow. Can anyone look in the records for me? All this Salmon family are Coxwold, Kilburn areas although trying to connect them with my larger Burnley, Bury, Lancashire family. Regards Mary

I am looking for more information on the Ward family who were living in Easingwold in 1871. The census shows Thomas Ward and his wife Sarah aand their 5 sons James (b1852) being their eldest. Also listed is Hannah Ward who may have been Thomas' mother. But more important to me was their domestic servant Mary Wood who is my 3x Great Grandmother who was born in Tholthorpe on 20th March 1853. Thomas worked as a Farmer on 290 acres of land in Huby. I would like any further information that can be provided in relation to this family if possible.

I am trying to find out if the Jane Hodgson who married John Metcalf in the Dec. qtr 1858 in Easingwold is the daughter of Vincent Hodgson, potter, of South Hylton. I would like to e-mail the register office but have not found any address. There are a lot of Jane Hodgsons and I want to be sure I am ordering the right certificate. Any help would be appreciated.

Died in Easingwold in December 1876. Hugh was born in 1824 probably in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire and his occupation is quoted as 'Sailor' The informant was Robert Milligan. Does anyone have any further information to share regarding either of these persons?

I have no idea where he was born - doesn't help i have to pick a village before i can add an entry - so i went for this one. He married Mary Eliza Haydon and they had George, Frederick, Frances, Minnie, Lucy Amelia (my great grandmother) and Clare Hellewell Greenwood. But i have the forward stuff, i'd like to go BACK. Goerge married May in 1876. George wasa solicitor. Mary was born in 1854, no idea when George was born. If someone can help me that'd be great. Thanks. There may be an Ebenezor involved too.
