red mail Simpson family
I am looking for the family of Simpson in and around Hornsea East Yorkshire. I have a Joseph Simpson married to Jane and several children for them. One of Joseph and Jane's children was called William born 1785c. who I believe married a Grace Foster. Another was Joseph Simpson born 1783 He is my direct ancestor. Joseph Snr.was born in 1756c I believe he may be the son of George Simpson and Jane. All George and Jane's children were born between 1748 - 1757 in Hornsea. Some of the Hornsea parish records are not very clear with parts missing so I have not been able to find a Bapt. for my Joseph 1756c. to confirm his parents. Some members of the family lived at a farm called "Brockholme" on the Seaton Road, it may be that someone has a connection to this farm and family . If so please get in touch with me. Thank you
