Reverend T H Barton, 1862-1894
My g'grandfather Thomas was vicar at this very historic but rather small and plain church. Married firstly in 1852, he had five children (of whom two appear to have survived) before being widowed in 1866. When aged about 50 (1874) he daringly remarried to a 23yr-old, a nearby fellow-Vicar's daughter, and proceeded to have five more! The last-born Dorothea (1883) was my grandmother! More information needed please, as he appears to have been a figure in the locality for long enough - surely- to have left some traces?
