red mail Flamborough Blacksmith 1930-1950 approx.
Donald Wild Blacksmith in Flamborough lived in the Forge cottage in Tower Street with his wife and two sons Peter and Colin. His brother I think was called Jack who had a son also named Jack. They lived in the cottage adjoining Tower Field almost opposite the Forge. Don tragically became ill in about 1950 and was left almost totally paralysed. He continued living in the Forge cottage until the late 50s or early 60s. My wife Hazels late mother Edna was Dons cousin. Another cousin was big Bill Watson a Flamborough Fisherman. If there are surviving members of these two families we would love to hear. Ron & Hazel.
