Emily A Beese lived in Weston Super Mare in the early 1900's, Im looking for any info on her, I know she lived at one time at 8 Alice Maud Cottages, in 1911 she is listed as a servant to Mary Brook at 51 The Boulevard, she died in Axbridge jan-Mar 1929, but I dont know where she was buried. Family stories were that she was a matron in a hospital?? Any info appreciated

My mother is desperate to find information on her father. He was called Daniel Charles Mcmillan and died at around 54 years of age. Her mother was called Ethel Mary Lowe and died of around 56 years of age. Alvechurch is where they lived and this is where they are both buried. Any information on Daniel Charles Mcmillan is appreciated as other family members refuse access to photos of him and any stories or basic background knowledge is not known. My mother is called Elizabeth Ann Peak and was born in 1953.

Thomas died in 1947, following his marriage to Mary in March, but prior to the birth of Darryl in Dec of that year. We're looking for Darryl. Arrived in NZ on the sailing ship "Lady Beaverton" in 1872. (Not sure of ship name as I can't find positive reference). His father, Thomas Henry, worked for the Salvation Army in NZ for nearly 50 years while Henry Custodian of the YWCA Hall and Latimer Hall in Christchurch NZ for at least 30 years from approx 1920-1950. The William Beament b 1894 may well be the William Oliver Beament who married Doris Elizabeth Hoaye and they had Roger b1934 and John Michael b 1928. The family originated in Crewkerne and this Branch descended from a John b 1778. My Maternal Great Grandmother was a Beament but from Johns Brother - Henry. There is an interesting booklet called the Beament Pedigree - I have a copy.

My friends aunt was the third of nine children born in the newbridge area. Her maiden name was Lillian Jones, d.o.b was around 1914. She went into service at a young age and ended up in Weston-Super-Mare. It was there that she met and married RonaldChapman. She died around 1954/5. Leaving a son David and a daughter Pamela.
