red mail William Thomas Pratt
My grandfather William Thomas Pratt was born in Hardingstone in 1902. His parents William Thomas Pratt and Phoebe Pratt nee Smith were married at Doddridge Memorial Congregational Chapel, St James Rd, Northampton in 1901.Phoebe was born in Everdon and I have records of her family however I can find no trace of the elder William Thomas Pratt prior to his marriage. The 1911 census states he was also born in Hardingstone. From the marriage certificate I know he was a carman in 1901 and a railway drayman in 1902 and that his father was also William Thomas Pratt who was a clicker but had died prior to 1901. If anyone who has come across any information about any of the Pratt family from Hardingstone I would be delighted to hear from them.
