red mail Descendants of John CARON
Seeking descendants of John CARON born in Blackfriars, London about 1801 son of John (Jean) CARON. John was a paper hanger and married an Elizabeth MANN in Finsbury, London in 1823. The couple had daughters, Julia and Martha born in 1825. At this time the family was living in Bishopsgate. There was also another daughter Sarah born about 1829. John died in Hoxton in 1845. It is believed that one of the daughters was a stage actress but nothing is confirmed. I have also been told that other CARONs were also actors and that they went under the pseudonym of HARMER. Perhaps someone can clear up that mystery. Anyone with any CARON information on this line is very welcome to reply. Perhaps there are distant cousins out there who can fill in the many gaps and even has photos of some of these ancestors??
