Charles (1882-1917) and his family were living at 54 Other Road, Redditch, Worcestershire at the 1911 census. Wife was Ada Shrimpton Farr (1879-1961). I am curious to know what happened to children Rosa, Cecil, Marjory and Kenneth. Ada is my great grandfather's sister.

I am searching the White Family William b1845 and wife Sarah b1851 both lived in George Street in 1871, They both worked in the needle industry at that time but by the 1880's had moved to Birmingham. One of their children was Rosina who was my grandmother. William was born in Feckenham and Sarah born in Alcester. I think William's mother was Ann Roberts.

Looking for relatives. I remember my grandmother(Shepro)Edkins writing to relatives in Redditch, Worcestershire, in the 1960s, she died in 2000. My father John, was in England during WW2 and stopped to see relatives, another John born about the same time; 1925. He was not available. We were told that he had the same name and born the same year or within a year. The family would have gone from England into Canada and then Minnesota and finally Wisconsin. I am a descendant of James Farr (b 1834) and Rosa Shrimpton (b 1839) They were both members of large families and were born in Redditch, They married in Bromsgrove in 1860 and raised their nine children there. Their son James Henry Shrimpton Farr (b 1863) immigrated to Australia and raised eight children. Hi, I am looking for any information about my paternal grandfather, Clifford Bates. He was from a large family and lived in the Redditch area as a young man and was married there to my grandmother, Elsie Allbutt. My father, Norman, was his son and was also born there. My grandfather would have been born in the late 1890s and my father in 1928. They later moved to Birmingham in the 1940s. My grandfather worked for BSA. Help needed to sort out my Pinfield/Wells line. William Pinfield married Charlotte (Wells?) children are William, Edwin, Jane, Mary Ann, Dinah, Ernest, Charlotte and their grandmother was Susannah Wells. From 1841/51 census records. William married Orpah Harris as a Pinfield Wells; children are Kezia Harris(out of wedlock not sure of father), Mary Ann Elizabeth Pinfield Wells and William Edwin Pinfield Wells. On the 1841 census William his wife Charlotte and their first 5 children are living with Susannah Wells and they have been listed as 'Wells'...error on census takers part maybe. Fingers crossed that someone out there can help me...

Henry Milward (1802-1878) was the owner of a large needle/fish hook factory in Redditch. I have all census details 1861 onwards. Does anybody know where he and his family were in 1841? Looking for Henry and his wife Catharine/Katharine (1799), plus (at least) children Catharine/Katharine Sarah (1833), John Frederick (1835), Mary Jane (1836) and Victor (1840). All were born & baptised in Redditch except wife Catharine/Katharine (nee Gosling) who was born in Richmond, Surrey. They can't have been living far from Redditch in 1841 because son Victor was baptised there in September 1840, but I'm struggling to find them in Worcestershire in the online version of the 1841 census. Any info on this family for 1841 or indeed 1851 would be very much appreciated.
