I am trying to find people who are connected to William and Harriet Taylor who lived in Bridge Street, Pershore 1871-1909. William was born in Leigh, Malvern in 1842 and Harriet (nee Clarke) in Kinnersley, Severn Stoke in 1831. They had two daughters, i.e. Annie Elizabeth Williams nee Taylor born Pershore St Andrews, Worcs. in 1862 and my great great grandmother Georgina Sophia Bickerton nee Taylor born Pershore St Andrews in 1866.

There were 4 children Edward, Frederick Joseph (my father) Florence Mary and Benjamin. My g.uncle, George Bettridge Phillips, married Anne Blizzard from Pershore in 1883. They lived in Aston where he was a jeweller's port? They had a daughter Florence. Anne died and George remarried in 1887 and went to the USA with his new wife where they had 4 children, one called Florence! The first Florence went to Pershore where she lived with maybe her grandparents. Does anyone know anything of this family?

Trying to find why Sarah Jane Parkes born 1867 (parents Wiiliam & Ann Parkes) was also known as Sarah Jane Taylor. Was this a married name or was she born out of wedlock & not William Parkes daughter? She lived with & had children by Richard Pratley (China Dealer Worcester) but they never married. In his will she is referred to as Sarah Jane Taylor. She then married John Winkle & died 1927 in Worcester.

My Great Grandfather Benjamin Hayward was born in 1849, left Pershore in i869 (at age 20) and came to the U.S.A. He settled in St. Joseph, Missouri and married Georgia Ann King. My Grandfather's name was Edward Asher Hayward. Both were railroad engineers. Any info at all would be fantastic. Even information about Pershore, as I know virtually nothing about it. Thank you!

I would like to know if there is any record of an inquest into the accidental death of my Gt Grandfather John Shepheard who was a Carter and who was killed when he was run over by his own horse and cart (about 1900) John was married to Frances Hill, a farmer's daughter, who was a glove maker to the local Gentry in and around Pershore/Worcester in about 1880
