A Parish Record for James Taylor b.abt.1857 Lye Waste, Worcestershire, son of Thomas and Esther Taylor (nee Salmon) has been found. He was baptised on 17.1.1858 Christ Church, Lye Waste, but no further details have been found. It is possible he may have died before the 1861 Census. Please can anyone help with this record?

Is anyone researching Clewitts in Lye, Worcs? Samuel Clewitt b 1834 married Sarah Ann Robinson. They had twins in 1858, Mary Caroline and William Joseph. Mary and Samuel both died in 1864 and William was brought up by his Robinson grandparents. Samuel's parents were William and Elizabeth. I can find no further trace of Sarah. Has anyone any info?

We have been able to trace Selina and her family but we are stuck on Charles Johnson and his family. He was born in 1830 and his fathers name was John Johnson. John Johnson was a labourer and Charles was a Miner.

Family from Lye, Worcestershire. Have traced back to Benjamin (1799), Enoch (1840), Benjamin (1869), then my father Harold. First Benjamin was a currier in Lye High Street on the corner of Jackson Street. Latter Jackson's included my fathers sisters Millicent, Edie, Maggie and Katy.
